Follow Danish startup Abeo's American adventure.

Abeo was founded in June 2010 to commercialize the patented building technology 'Super-Light Structure'. In short, it is a new way of combining light and strong concrete, which leads to a weight reduction of about 50 percent.

Mads Løntoft is Co-Founder & CEO of Abeo. Despite his 22 years of age, he has founded several companies and is co-owner of a corporation and two patents with a supposed market opportunity of 6,000 billion USD.

Lesa Mitchell is Vice President of the Kauffman Foundation. She is responsible for leading the foundation's initiatives to advance innovations and their work in understanding the policy levers that influence the advancement of innovation from universities into the commercial market.
