Micro brewery ahead of expansion

Growing demand for Danish speciality beers despite crisis.

The Danish market for speciality beers is flourishing. This is a gift for those breweries making it. One of those is situated on Amager, a small island just outside Copenhagen.

Amager Bryghus was founded in 2006 by the two friends and home brewers Morten Valentin Lundsbak and Jacob Storm. Today, they produce 90,000 liters of beer every year. However, they hope to double the production in 2011.

Morten Valentin Lundsbak and Jacob Storm are Co-Founders & Owners of Amager Bryghus. They both started as home brewers but hold a diploma education in brewing from The Scandinavian School of Brewing.
